Osteoporoza afecteaz\u0103 orice sex, dar apare mai frecvent la femeile \u00een v\u00e2rst\u0103. Mai mult ca at\u00e2t, fracturile osoase generate de osteoporoz\u0103, frecvent se \u00eent\u00e2lnesc la femeile postmenopauzale dec\u00e2t la femeile premenopauzale. Grupul de cercetare a fost \u00eemp\u0103r\u021bit \u00een trei subgrupuri: primul a consumat 12 prune pe zi, al doilea 6 prune pe zi, iar al treilea nu a consumat nici o prun\u0103. To\u021bi participan\u021bii se aflau la tratament cu suplimente de vitamina D \u0219i calciu.<\/p>\n<p>Descoperirile sugereaz\u0103 c\u0103 femeile care consumau de 12 prune pe zi au avut nivelul mediatorilor proinflamatori, redus.
